What do I do if my basement floods?

Immediately afterwards, put on rubber gloves, goggles, and a dust mask (N95 rated) if you are dealing with flood water that is possibly contaminated.

With the water line supply shut off, begin removing items from the flooded area to a higher area within your home or, even better, outside the room entirely (our crew will help with this upon arrival). Getting your possessions out will make it easier to clean and dry the affected area and possibly save some contents from getting ruined.
